Abaddon breaks silence with rumors about AEW departure

AEW has a very large roster full of talented professional wrestlers, but it’s impossible for all wrestlers to be featured regularly, and some end up letting go. With that in mind, Abaddon has now broken her silence with the allegation that AEW will lapse her contract.

The Twitter account recently claimed that AEW is planning to expire Abadon and Nick Comoroto’s contract. The report was credited to the Wrestling Observer newsletter, and, as the account said, sparked responses from fans online. “AEW reportedly plans to expire the #abadon and #nickcomoroto contracts.

Abaddon saw this claim when she went to Twitter and responded to the same thing. She said she couldn’t wait for the announcement herself. “Man I can’t wait to make an announcement myself.” Abaddon made it clear that you shouldn’t believe in gossip unless fans come directly from her. Her tweets suggested that fans were interested in what she planned and that her future may not be as uncertain as rumors suggest.

Abaddon finally competed with Rachel Ellaring in the Ring of Honor programming on February 8, 2025, and has not competed on AEW TV since December 2023.

Abaddon hasn’t been much in the ring lately, but fans believe that “living nightmare” is not ready to go away. Fans are eagerly waiting to hear her announcement. She wonders what’s next for her at AEW.
