AEW makes a special announcement about Beach Break 2025

Following news that Ring of Honor has made several changes to its schedule, it announced that Supercard of Honor was moved from May 2nd to July 11th, and that the death before Dishonor moved from July 11th to September 5th had been made, with AW having announced several changes to its schedule, including when the annual beach break special takes place.

AEW had already planned to host the May 14 episode of “AEW Dynamite” at Now Arena in Chicago, Illinois, but now it’s the night when the 2025 Beach Break Special will be held. The 2024 special was also held at Wintra Store Arina Chicago, where the company saw Beach Break Branding return after the company was gone in 2023. Previous incarnations of the event were also held in 2021 and 2022 at Jacksonville, Florida and the Walstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Fans participating in the 2025 Beach Break Special will also get a dose of twice the AEW action, as a special taping of “AEW Collision” takes place shortly after “Dynamite” airs. This is the biggest change in AEW’s schedule as it is set to air from Inplast Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas on May 17th, but the event was cancelled in favour of tape-taping in Chicago instead. All fans who purchase tickets for the event originally planned in Wichita will receive a refund from the time of purchase.

AEW has announced many changes to its TV schedule just after doubled or nothing pay-per-view on May 25th, and on both June 4th and June 11th, AEW AIE is watching a four-hour content block on TBS, with no episodes of the “Clash” broadcast the following Saturday.
