Although Kathy is completely at work, she also appears to have reached the ceiling where she can go as a ring announcer. Perhaps this is why the female star is looking for change.
According to Pwinsider, Cathy Kelley has been training at the WWE Performance Center recently. She attends promotional classes and learns a bit through ring work. This purpose is not clear at this time, but it is possible that the company will use her as manager in the future.
Being a manager would mean turning your heels for an announcer who doesn’t match her current personality. Another possibility is that she will be involved in the storyline while continuing her role as Carrett.
Kelly is often seen joking about her relationship with Rhea Ripley on social media. It makes a lot of sense to use her as Mami’s inspiration in a feud.
WWE, which allows Cathy to explore possibilities, said that former WWE Ring announcer Samantha Irvin is not getting the opportunity to explore the same options, which is one of the reasons behind her departure from the company last year.
