The 2025 Hall of Fame began in the best way as WWE celebrated Rex Ruger’s incredible career. The show began with his guiding and many felt he deserved to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. With that in mind, Luger now deals with whether he feels that Vince McMahon has been in office if he still existed.
While talking to Ariel Helwani, Rex Luger was asked if Vince McMahon had the difficult feelings of Vince McMahon appearing in WCW Nitro, even though Vince McMahon was still around.
Luger answered, saying that it was a question that only Vince McMahon could answer, as he said. “Well, that’s certainly a Vince McMahon question.”
Rex Luger also explained why he missed WrestleMania 41 after the Hall of Fame, as his body was so tired. As for Vince McMahon, the issue with Rex Luger is well documented, and many fans feel that McMahon is a major reason why Ruger was not inducted into the Hall of Fame until this year.
Rexluger’s much-anticipated Hall of Fame Induction feels like the result of this approach as Triple H leads the creative direction of WWE and works to reconstruct the storyline while celebrating forgotten legends. Many fans believe that this perception would never have happened if Vince McMahon was still in charge.
Even in past controversies, Luger’s influence on professional wrestling has been officially recognized through his Hall of Fame honor, from his days at the NWA/WCW to his run at the WWE, and that’s ultimately everything.
