Bailey admits that despite working hard for years, he feels that he is underrated by both the fan and WWE administrators.
The discussion about the former champion WWE spot came up after she was pulled out of the last minute of the WrestleMania 41 match and made room for a return Becky Lynch. Triple H assures people that she’s okay, but many have questioned the company’s treatment of wrestling veterans compared to other horse women remaining on the roster.
The WWE star opened up about his current location in wrestling in a recent interview with Chris Van Vriette. She was asked about some fans still not giving her the respect she deserves, and Bailey pointed out that she had stopped reading online chats long ago. However, she admitted it still reaches her from time to time. The wrestling veteran takes criticism from a positive perspective and tries to prove people wrong, but doubts can definitely sneak up on her.
“But there’s also the part of me that I feel and agree with them. I told Lyra this the other day. We’ve built a lot of bonds. I don’t feel like I’m on the Charlotte or Becky level. That, or whatever.”

Bailey noted that she was trying to get feedback from the right people. She named Tyler Brees and Tyson Kidd as talents. However, despite her efforts, the former women’s champion was unable to unlock the next level like her generation’s peers.
Part of this responsibility lies with WWE officials as well, as the female star doesn’t get the same spotlight as other names. An example of that is being ruled out from the WrestleMania XL kickoff press event despite winning the Royal Rumble and winning one of the best stories to take part in the show at Iyo Sky.
When asked about it, Bailey said he has good relationships with top WWE officials such as Bruce Pritchard and Triple H.
“I won’t compete in press conferences. I won’t compete in posters. I can’t do talk shows. I don’t know what else to do. [there’s an issue]there’s no behind the scenes. Hunter and I have a really good relationship. Bruce and I have a really good relationship.
Even when I went to other shows to support my friends, we had such a conversation, do’s and the nots, and it was a bit too much. We had those conversations, so I think we are at a real level of respect.
