It’s been nearly two months since Big Boom AJ and his sons Big Justice and The Rizzler last appeared in AEW. Apparently some fans were expecting the worst on the weekend, and rumors emerged that AJ had suddenly died.
As Lee Corso says, my friend isn’t that fast! Filming X on Tuesday afternoon, AJ posted a video, revealing that rumors of his ending mise were very exaggerated.
“Big Boom AJ has passed away!” AJ asked sarcastically. “Who’s going to come up with something like this? Hey, there’s no need to worry at all. Big Boom AJ brings a boom here! We’ve come down to Walt Disney World for a few days. We’ve met hundreds, maybe thousands. We’ve taken photos, videos.

For those who think the video is just about clearing rumors of his death, AJ has confirmed that there is at least one news nugget for wrestling fans. While promoting upcoming schedules over the summer, AJ revealed on July 12th that he is part of Texas AEW, and also teased appearances from Big Justice and Rizzler at the event. He did not mention any other AEW events.
