Mina Shirakawa says goodbye to Stardom after the final match before the official jump

Although nothing officially was by the company itself, Mina Shirakawa has announced that she will be taking part in all elite wrestling full-time in the near future. With that in mind, former Stardom Champion Wonder took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to confirm that Stardom’s “Neon Dream in Neon City” was the final match against the company on April 18th.

Shirakawa worked with Reichel Rose in a lost effort with Hazuki and Suzuzuki’s teams in the opening match of the show. This took place just 24 hours after the final night of teams with Empress Nexus Venus Stablamate Hakano took place in “sin city” with “sin city’s American dream” and “sin city” with the star of hatred Mula Watanabe. Shirakawa already concluded her time in Japan at the beginning of April. The final event in Japan will have a short exhibit match with longtime rival Tam Nakano, seeing Empress Nexus’ Venus be a fool in the entire Stardom roster and two gauntlet matches.

Her stardom contract expires on March 31, but while it is still unknown when Shirakawa begins her life as a full-time AEW star, Wrestling Observer Dave Meltzer has already confirmed that she will be relocating to the US forever in the coming weeks. Her first big test when she arrived at Stateside isn’t really for AEW. Instead, Shirakawa will compete in the New Japan Pro Wrestling revival event on May 9th, facing AZM and Mercedes Mone in a three-way match at Mone’s NJPW Strong Women’s Championship. Shirakawa hopes to lose his title match against Morn at the NJPW Wrestle Dynasty event in January.
