The April 22 episode of NXT went down in Fontaine Blaux Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada. Roxanne Perez decided to prove she was still a suitable main event and had a great chance to do it in Las Vegas.
Roxanne Perez faced Stephanie Verker in the main event of this week’s show. Perez is a former NXT champion and she wants to hold the gold for another round. That being said, she was facing a vaker above the game.
The contest received a major match with a special ring introduction. The match took place through a commercial break as two competitors fought in the ring.
It was noted that Stephanie Verker dislocated her right thumb during her stand & delivery fight. It was something Roxanne Perez could use during this match. The two were to fight around ringside, then they fought on the entrance ramp. This was followed by a vaker playing pansou outside the ring to Perez.
The NXT women’s champion nailed Perez a demon kiss, and Booker T popped out in a big way. He loves the move and it’s not easy to see why. The two continued to fight in this match as Perez received more attacks from the champions.
Roxanne Perez entered a crossface in the middle of the ring, which ended with them hanging with roll-up pins one after another. The Verker nails the kick to the stomach, then they end up at the corner, where she blocks the pop rock from Perez. Vaquer then nailed the Dragon Screw and then hit her finisher to win and retain the title.
Julia finally came out to confront her. Jordyn Grace was there and watched. Obviously, there is no shortage of challengers for the title at this point.
