“That’s embarrassing” – Randy Orton slams WrestleMania ticket prices

Wrestlemania 41 belongs to a book on history and has been down in recent years as one of the more controversial Wrestlemanias. Fans have had issues with some of the show’s bookings, and the ever-growing prices of tickets have also proven to be a problem for many.

Randy Orton didn’t have to pay to attend WrestleMania, but was stunned when he learned what some fans had paid to attend the show. When learning about costs, Orton shared his views.

“To be honest, there’s a lot of money in the seat.”

WrestleMania 41 tickets started at $450, but that number doesn’t take into account the hybrid pricing of Ticketmaster. In context, the floor seating of the 2003 WrestleMania 19 costs $400, while the cheapest tickets for the Seattle, Washington event are only $15.

WRESTLEMANIA 41 was a serious money spawner for WWE, but many believe WWE is making the biggest show out of hand for the average fan. It is still unclear whether WWE and TKO will change courses after this year’s response, as even one of the company’s top stars believes things are going too far.
