Samoa Joe cuts a passionate promotion after this week’s historic episode of AEW Dynamite from MGM Music Hall in Fenway, Boston, Massachusetts.

The company celebrated the Wednesday night show, becoming the longest-running weekly primetime wrestling series in Turner Sports history, beating Monday night nitro. Tony Kahn has booked shows worthy of achievements in many big matches.

The event title “Spring Break” brings Athena back to AEW TV in a match against Mercedes Mohn. It also saw the first appearance by Christian Cage since the Revolution PPV on March 9th.

The biggest surprise of the night was probably the debut of former Impact World champion Joshu Alexander. The walking weapon was revealed to be a wild card in the Owen Heart Cup tournament and faced the Hangman page on the show.

At the main event of the show, the trio of Katsuyori Island, Samoa Joe and Will Hobbs challenged the Death Rider in search of the title of the AEW Trios. John Moxley replaced PAC on title defense due to the latter injury.

Swerve Strickland, The Young Bucks, Willow Nightingale and Marina Shafir all appeared at ringside trying to influence the match. It was Joe who ultimately won his team’s match.

The locker room was empty to celebrate the fall of Death Rider after the match, and the show ended with many big names celebrating in the ring. The celebration continued after the show, with Samoa Joe cutting off the air promotion to send the crowd home.
