Bianca Belair is a genuine star of WWE, but like all wrestlers there was a time when EST was a brand new face in the world of wrestling. On X, Belair shared footage of her first WWE Tryout, detailing how inexperienced she was at the time.
“I didn’t know how to take the bumps. I didn’t even know what the ‘promo’ was, let alone what the ‘bumps’ were.
All Belair knew was how to become herself, and was praised by Mark Henry for giving her the opportunity. Belair’s rose-themed outfit came from CrossFit competitors she competed with. The raw superstar publicly revealed at the time that she not only felt like she didn’t belong, but she was also afraid of taking the spot from more appropriate women.
“I threw this whole heart at this because I always felt like I was stealing another person’s dreams. I’ve been dealing with fraud syndrome for a long time. I always felt like there was something to prove.”
Currently, Belair has more than proven in the world of wrestling and is one of the most popular women in WWE in recent years. It ends with a passionate plea for fans to “dream big and do things you didn’t even think you were meant to be for you.” Today, Belair’s battle with fraud syndrome is a thing of the past, but we will never forget the early horrors of participating in the world of wrestling.
