After abandoning the challenge for the Eliminator match, AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm will be active this weekend at AEW Collision.
Storm has not yet wrestled since holding the title to Megan Bain in the dynasty earlier this month. However, she said in this week’s “AEW Dynamite” that she would like to wait and take a closer look at one of her peers with an open challenge to “conflicts.” Queen Aminata then entered the frame, accepted the challenge and created the title eliminator match official this weekend.

Aminata returned to the ring for the first time since March, and last lost to Julia Hart in “Crossing: Slam Dunk Saturday.” Storm and Aminata met in the former final match before abdicated Mariahamey at Grand Slam Australia, and the final women’s world champion won that night, facing them for the first time in February last year.
In addition to pursuing a women’s world title, Aminata was announced as the first matchup of the tournament along with Serena Deeve, winning the first ROH women’s pure champion. She is challenging the TBS Championship held by Mercedes Mohn and ROH Women’s World Championship Athena, and is challenging her missed Billy Stark almost 20 minutes later to reach the final to launch the ROH Women’s World TV Championship.
