Behind the scenes news of John Cena, teaming up with WWE’s Travis Scott, potential opponent

Through John Cena’s journey to the dark side in harmony with the rock, Grammy-winning rapper Travis Scott made his presence known in WWE. Not only did he suffer a legal ear injury to Cody Rhodes at WWE’s Elimination Chamber Premium Live event in March, he also participated in the Wrestlemania 41 Night 2 main event between Rhodes and Cena. It has already been reported that Scott could eventually get his hands dirty and wrestling the actual match, and in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed plans that WWE reportedly has Scott and Cena’s potential tag team.

Given how thorny he is, Meltzer claims Rhodes is half of the tag team facing Scott and Cena, saying that for the match to actually do the job, WWE will need the largest possible babyface to compete with Cena, the top heel at this point. As for who will team up with Rhodes, Meltzer’s theory is that he is not only because he has worked for WWE for many years, but also because he is large, if not as big as Scott when it comes to mainstream casual popularity. Meltzer said that nothing is set on stone, but that Scott and Cena will need a suitable opponent when they ultimately work together.

Bad Bunny hasn’t been seen in WWE since fighting San Juan Street and Damien’s priests in the 2023 Backlash, but has admitted that he wants to return to the ring at some point in the future, and says he wants to get a little more prepared this time.
