In the build to pay-per-view of all elite wrestling dynasties on April 6, many fans assumed that killer aircraft Brian Cage and Lance Archer would be the one to challenge the AEW Tag Team Championship. However, these plans were changed due to the news that Cage suffered a legitimate knee injury at an independent event, with Big Bill and Brian Keith inserted instead. Dave Meltzer, the man who first broke the story about Cage’s injuries, corrected himself in a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, as he revealed that Cage’s knees were actually OK, but a different injury he suffered.
“Brian Cage tore his quad [so it’s] It’s not a knee surgery. Cage’s injuries not only forced AEW’s injuries to change plans for the AEW Tag Team Championship scene, but also meant that Cage had won an event that featured the future star of the event starring the “Mecca X: Beynifit for Bey for Bey” event on March 22nd at the restaurant. I was temporarily paralyzed in October 2024.
Cage has suffered many problems with injuries throughout his AEW career, with the former FTW champion suffering a back injury in the first episode of 2024’s “AEW Dynamite.” Most famously, AEW President Tony Kahn actually made his debut in double or nothing aggressive that year after four months after the allegedly signed with the company, while AEW President Tony Kahn actually signed the cage in 2020 and recovered from a bicep injury.
