Joe Hendry proved undeniable in 2025, but now his wrestling career has fallen into a major obstacle. During the April 3rd edition of TNA Impact, TNA announced that Hendry suffered from “Severe Sprain in the Rotator Cuff.” The injury occurred in a brawl segment where the TNA world champion was grabbed by Elijah.

The injury raises questions about Hendry’s status regarding the upcoming TNA rebellion event. At this point, the show will feature Frankie Kazarian and Hendry defending the NXT Championship against WWE NXT’s Ethan Page. This calls a Kazarian shot match after winning the title match guaranteed in the era of choice last year. As for the Page, this will be his first match for the long-standing TNA, and will be his second title match against Hendry after the pair competed for the NXT title in September 2024.

Hendry has been a TNA wrestling hit since the 2024 renewal, but his health is a priority. Keep an eye out for the latest news on TNA World Champions and his status in TNA Rebellion 2025 at SESCOOPS.
