Following the debut of both stars as singles stars, an update has emerged for Lucha brothers Penta and Ray Phoenix, who are reuniting in WWE.
Despite winning Championship Gold worldwide as a tag team, Penta and Phoenix performed penta wrestling on the RAW episode of January 13th, and debuted on the Smackdown brand on April 4th.
As many fans anticipate a reunion in the siblings’ ring, the latest updates on WWE’s stance against Lucha Brothers have come into play.
When asked about the Lucha brothers on militant choices, Sean Ross Sapp pointed out that “creatively related” sources told him that both Penta and Phoenix could create a buzz as a star of singles and that every time they reunite, it would be a big moment.
Sapp added that he believes at some point they will “absolutely” be together in WWE.
The duo finally wrestled on July 19, 2024 (recorded on July 17, 2024), performing a rampage episode, beating private parties Isai Akasidi and Mark Quen.
Both Penta and Phoenix made their debut at WrestleMania 41, with Penta playing in the InterContinental Championship Fourway match, with Phoenix replacing the injured Rey Mysterio with the El Grande American.
Penta recently tackled the possibility of a reunion with her younger brother, Ray Phoenix.
