WWE SmackDown Results (4/11/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
Damien’s priest and Ray Phoenix are shown to have arrived at the arena. Cody Rhodes is signed on the title belt. He then cut into the arena where SmackDown kicks off in Seattle.
The announcers tonight are Wade Barrett and Joe Tesitor. The replay shows Kevin Owens, who has been revealing a neck injury since last week. They return to the ring where Nick Ardis is on his feet and are ready to deal with Randy Orton hitting him with RKO last week. Nick Aldis is committed to inviting Randy Orton into the ring and keeping things professional while dealing with what happened. Randy Orton’s music hits and he moves towards the ring.
Randy Orton enters the ring and grabs the microphone. He tells Nick Aldis that just looking into his eyes can tell Nick had taken RKO very personally by robbing last week. But Orton says Nick can’t expect him to just stand there and take it – especially after he was fined last year. He reveals that he has paid twice the fine in case this happens again. According to Orton, they are still there.
Orton shifts focus by saying he’s there as he’s not playing a match at WrestleMania. He reminds everyone that this is not just a show, it’s not his show. 20th WrestleMania, that means something. He tells Nick that he is in Las Vegas, is warm and ready. Then he adds, with a smirk, “Maybe you’ve lost your suit and you’re geared up?” Before he tells Aldis, he needs that match to lock in.
Nick Ardis fights back by asking if this is really about money. He says WWE has a record-breaking business and they are both part of its success. But for him, it wasn’t about money. He spent 20 years getting to where he is and what he wants from Orton is not money. That’s respect.
Orton answered and told him to Aldis. I’ll do it I have his respect. However, if Nick doesn’t play a match at WrestleMania, Orton warns that he might not apologise too much Mickey James For what he does.
Just then, Solosikoa’s music gets a hit and he goes out with Tamanga. Solo tells Aldis to tell Orton to get out of the ring and stop doing anything embarrassing. “No one wants to hear you cry,” Solo cuts off him. Solosicore tells Randy Orton that his time is over. He is in the past. And next week, La Knight will end up just like he did in the past. At WrestleMania, Solo says Jacob Fatu will leave as the new American champion, and Orton sits at home.
Randy laughs at it. What’s really interesting is that Solo and Tama actually had the courage to get in the way. But now? The voice in his head tells him to close both. “So, why do you step into this ring and tell me how to defeat two Samoan boys?”
Solo and Tama climb onto the apron. Randy swings first and lands on both men. He knocks Tama back and gets an upper cut solo. Solo jumps him from behind, as Orton lined up in a drape DDT with a ball. Both men begin to slap Randy. Suddenly, Lanite music strikes and the crowd erupts. Knight rushes to the ring, chases Tama and throws his hands as Solo continues to attack Randy. Knight drills the ball with his right hand, and Orton helps clear the ring by sending the ball to the floor.
Knight grabs the microphone and stares at the solo. “How many times do you have to say it? I won’t say my name.” He warns Solo that Jacob Fatu is better off watching. Knight turns to Orton and says neither of them got enough of that fight. So he challenges them tonight to a tag team match. Nick Aldis intervenes and gives him an official nod. The match is on.
Behind the scenes, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are shown walking through the hall. I’m going to the commercial.
We’ve returned from the commercial. LivMorgan and Raquel Rodriguez are sitting ringside next to the announcement table, watching closely and ready to find out who to face in Wrestlemania.

The priest must be clearly shaken and assisted by the officials.

He calls the priest a parasite. The parasite has been messed up until now and never faced him like a man. Drew reminds all the priests who stepped up only when Drew had one eye. “I had one eye, so you tried me to a street fight, and I still accepted.” He says.
Drew says this match has been built for a year and does the priest want to be remembered forever? “Don’t worry. After giving you a once-in-a-lifetime heartbeat, make sure no one forgets you.” Then, with a smile, Drew tells Seattle that he has a secret. He tores the eye patch and says he is now 100% cleared – and in WrestleMania, “You’re 100% screwed.”
Suddenly the priest comes back and presses security to charge the ring. He attacks Drew with anger. Nail him with punches, rebound clothesline and corner elbows. He follows up with a giant clothesline that Drew flies over the top rope. The priest sends Drew down the steel stairs, but officials are swarming to split things up. Drew manages to be free, captures the priest’s eyes, grabs the top half of the steel stairs, blows it into the priest’s head, and lays out him.
Drew isn’t finished. He grabs Damian’s priest and trains him with a Future shock DDT To the right on the steel staircase. Then, in a cold moment, Drew tore the priest’s necklace, walked away, and laid out him.

He adds, “Despair doesn’t look good to you.” Before he and Kit Wilson left.
Shortly afterwards, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin appear. Chris asks if he’s heard anything about the plot. Sabin reminds them of that They are Get the tag title shot next week. He maintains the WWE Championship and says this is what the possibilities look like. This title is the ultimate measure. It proves who the best wrestlers in the world are.
Cody says he is blessed with carrying this title and everything it represents. It’s not just a match, it’s about defending the right to keep this title at home. It’s about the next 20 champions. Maybe someone from NXT, NIL athletes, or even fans of dreamy crowds.
But one man is trying to take it – John Cena. Cody calls out Cena for skipping Seattle on his farewell tour and choosing Las Vegas for next week’s Smackdown. He says it’s ward disease to not respond to what Cena said in London, as he calls Cody a “common fan” because of where his tattoo is.
Cody shruggs it. “so what?” He says he got a tattoo for the same reason that he wears a suit – he says that want To be someone. And now he teeth someone. Cody looks around the ring at past WWE Championship Belt displays and stops by Cena’s iconic spinner title. He says the belt belongs to a man who carried the company through highs and lows for over a decade. Cena might think it’s negative, but Cody sees it as someone who’s trying to find herself and rebuild the system.
Cody simply says: “I’m a WWE champion. You’re not.” He admits that Cena is constantly teaching and preaching, but this is a chance to teach him something. He says even John’s father, a lifelong babyface, will admit that he can now love someone else. Cody respects Cena, who calls herself “captain,” but reminds me that WWE is piled up in the talent to push each other to make them better. And now Cody is facing the toughest path ever. It ends China’s final run and stops his attempts at a record-breaking final title reign.
Cena says he’s stolen the title with him when he leaves. Cody says he turns his back against the wall to perform at his best. And at WrestleMania, he gives China the moment he wants… Say goodbye. He smiles and closes: “It’s fun to say your time is over, my time is now. Do you know that? This is timeless. And it’s home with us.”
