The crossover between WWE and the NFL Draft continued, with Jimmy USO representing the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut this time. Fresh from his appearance WrestleMania 41Jimmy appeared in the draft and announced the San Francisco 49ers’ 227th overall pick.
Jimmy received a warm welcome from the fans, with several members of the crowd chanting “Yett!” When he took the stage. The former tag team champion expressed his gratitude by saying, “I am grateful for the love that comes from the fans.” Big Gym added that he is excited to come straight away. USO then announced that the 49ers had selected Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke on their seventh pick.
Jimmy Uso has become the third WWE superstar to appear in the draft this year, following the appearance of Seth Rollins and an incontroversial video appearance by WWE champion John Cena. It is still unclear whether other WWE superstars appeared in this year’s NFL Draft.
