Despite the rapid loss, Hendry didn’t leave empty-handed. WWE shared a behind-the-scenes post-match conversation between Hendry and Orton. There, Orton gave the TNA star serious respect. “You appeared for me and you appeared for the fans.” Orton told him. “That meant a lot to me.”
Hendry’s WrestleMania moment didn’t end with his hand raised, but he won the night differently, paying homage from legends like Randy Orton.
