The company has experienced a creative revival and can claim to be producing strong televisions every week, but over 2023 and 2024, like many Bookers before him, it seemed that Khan had exhausted his ideas.
This could be due to fatigue from multiple high pressure roles by the English Premier League Fulham FC and the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars.
If burnout reappears, there are some interesting options for those who can ultimately take over the pencil.
5. GabeSapolsky
From its birth in 2002 until 2008, Gabe Sapolsky booked Ring of Honor and booked an independent promotion for other trending sets: Evolve and Dragon Gate USA.
Ring of Honor served as a precursor, the spiritual ancestor of AEW, providing the platform for AEW’s biggest stars, Brian Danielson, Samoa Joe and CM Punk, innovating the Japanese-influenced hard hit-in-ring style while getting their first national break.
Of course, Sapolsky is currently adopted in WWE, and this option is unlikely as it runs the incarnation of Evolve and oversees the ID program.
Aside from that important issue, there are few more appropriate options.
