The AEW star responded to Brian Danielson’s career-determining moment, which overturned the WWE WrestleMania 30 title victory.

At WrestleMania 30 in April 2014, then-Daniel Brian defeated Triple H, securing his spot in the show’s main event.

In the Triple Threat Match, Brian defeated Batista and Randy Orton to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

In a recent interview with Jamal Nias, Danielson was asked to compare his WrestleMania victory with his AEW in his victory over Swave Strickland.

In the AEW Pay-per-View in August 2024, Danielson defeated Swave Strickland and became the AEW World Champion in a title vs career match.

Danielson chose everything during the match, noting that his wife and children’s presence and that he could step into the ring during his celebrations when his career collapses.

Strickland now responds to Danielson’s statement and responds to Wrestletalk’s tweet:

“The biggest moment in my career.”

During AEW ALL’s zero-hour pre-show, it was revealed that Strickland had signed a new contract with the company.

It will later be reported that the multi-year agreement will sign Strickland with AEW until 2029.

Danielson’s final match took place at AEW Wrestledream in October 2024, losing the World Championship to John Moxley.

During Danielson’s full-time wrestler career, he revealed that he had not ruled out another match during an interview with Nias.

He says he wants to live comfortably and will also find himself “returning for the butler” at a UK-based holiday camp where he worked there early in his career.
