It’s no secret that many fans have been disappointed with his creative direction on the main roster since Karrion Kross returned to WWE in 2022. The former NXT champion has suspended many premium live events and continues to find himself stuck on WWE midcards, but last week Cross decided to air his frustration with the company on “Wrestle Mania Recap.” In the explosive rant, Cross spoke about the lack of opportunities he received in WWE, expressing his dissatisfaction with Logan Paul playing a match at WrestleMania on his behalf. Cross began to be featured more prominently all the way to WrestleMania, but he was still haunted by his position in the company, but his recent pipe bomb may have changed that. Last Saturday, Wrestlevotes provided an update on the company’s Kross status, explaining that it is expected to be presented in an upcoming increase in roles.
“It’s been said to come out of WrestleMania and hope Karrion Kross will get a “extended opportunity on television.” It doesn’t sound like a complete push, but it will probably continue to develop his character in a different way outside the ring.
Throughout the last month, Cross has been desperately trying to get AJ style to walk down the dark character paths. This is something “surprising” that continues to reject every week. Despite losing to Style before WrestleMania 41, it remains to be seen whether Kross will continue his feud with him on “WWE Raw” or whether Triple H will begin implementing “extension opportunities” for 39-year-olds, not later.
