Dustin Rhodes has participated in all elite wrestling since the company was founded in 2019, and many fans consider his run to be one of the best in his nearly 40-year career. He currently holds the ROH World Tag Team and the World Sixth Man Tag Team Championship with Sammy Guevara and Von Erichs respectively, but with the end of his career, some fans have suggested that “Nature” will return to WWE before being given the opportunity to reunite with his younger brother Cody, considering his history with the company. However, that possibility appears to be officially off the card to make sure Rhodes goes to X (formerly known as Twitter) and ends his career with AEW.

In response to fans who said they were looking forward to Rhodes returning to WWE, “Natural” replied, “nope!! @aew is where I end up, only where I have been respected before.” Rhodes has already expressed his excitement to attend all of the Texas events in Arlington on July 12th, and appears to have spent at least two or three more years in the ring, before eventually calling out his career. Additionally, he has confirmed that he has not spoken to WWE, despite approaching the end of his contract in 2024, and is not focused on looking at wrestling companies other than the other companies he currently works for.
When he retired, Rhodes could stick to the wrestling business as he launched a promotion for the Rhodes Wrestling Association, which held its first official event in September 2024, and thanks to his strong relationship with AEW and ROH owner Tony Khan, he certainly turns when Khan might need a post-stage.
