WWE was in charge of the Survivor Series 2025 at Petco Park in San Diego, and fans now believe that major traditions are quietly being dropped.

Unlike in recent years, none of the announcements mentioned wargames. Fans soon began debating whether WWE had moved ahead of the popular concept that has been at the heart of the event since 2022.
WWE has not officially stated whether Wargames is off the table, but the Survivor Series 2025 artwork has already sparked speculation. The new promotional images show a faintly large steel cage structure behind the Survivor Series logo, suggesting that cage-based matches may still be part of the show.
With WWE still silent and the artwork dropping a big hint, fans are wondering if WarGames is being rebranded or quietly phased out. Either way, people have already spoken to Survivor Series 2025. If the steel cage is any indication, the chaos is still locked.
For now, it’s pretty safe to assume that some versions of Wargames are still taking place, especially in cages that are very noticeable in official artwork. Unless WWE announces otherwise, fans should expect some serious cage fights when the Survivor Series hits Petco Park.
