Leon Slater is doing well after a horrifying dive TNA Rebellion Left fan worried about his safety.
Slater competed with Moose, KC Navarro, Matt Cardona, Matt Cardona, El Hijo Del Vikingo and Sidney Akeem in the Ultimate X match of the X Division Championship. During the contest, Slater climbed into the X structure and attempted a 450º Senton splash on the group below. Typically, competitors position themselves to catch diving wrestlers, but this time, misunderstanding and poor placement caused Slater to crash directly into the floor.
After the hard landing, AJ Francis and Moose were immediately seen checking out Slater. The young star later dealt with the incident on Twitter/X and thanked everyone for their support.
“Thank you to everyone who expressed their concerns and sent messages. I’m even more grateful than you know,” Slater wrote. “Do I live to tell the story? Makah in the moment.”
