Scott Steiner discusses big regrets from his second WWE run

WWE Hall of Fame Scott Steiner discussed his inactive second run with WWE and his biggest regrets from a short time in the promotion.

Steiner was one of many stars who switched from WCW to WWE after his previous shut shop, and returned to promotion after eight years. However, he was unable to replicate WWE’s success at WCW and he was eventually released two years later. In his recent interaction with “wrestling classics,” Steiner said he hopes to be healthy during his time at WWE.

“I wish I was healthy. My legs were completely paralyzed, before I had surgery. So if I were to watch the game now, I wouldn’t even see myself walking to the ring.

Steiner added that he has struggled with foot injuries after the surgery.

“And it’s still paralyzed to this day, but I had surgery to stabilize it — it’s a little more than that. But even so, you’re…yeah, you’re still dead,” Steiner said.

Jim Ross, a former WWE commentator who saw Steiner nearby in both WCW and WWE, believes he has caught up with his injuries and age by Steiner, who is no longer an athletic specimen he was in early in his career. Steiner, who won the world title at WCW just two years before joining WWE, got a title replied during his second run in the promotion. However, he revitalized his professional wrestling career with TNA a few years later, where he played an integral role in some of the promotion’s most successful storylines.
