London Mayor Sadiq Khan has not given up on bringing future WWE WrestleMania into his city after years of wanting to do it.
Khan mentioned the idea in his 2024 reelection campaign, but there were no contracts between WWE and the city yet. He met with Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Nick Kahn last summer.
The mayor’s office today released a report that six events had a direct economic impact on the city last year, resulting in £230 million. Now looking ahead, Khan said he continues to be committed to bringing in the mania.
Triple H recently said that ringing WrestleMania overseas will be logistically challenging. But that doesn’t mean he’s against it. He said he believes WWE is taking on the challenge.
London is aiming for future WrestleMania events, but immediate hosting obligations are elsewhere. Las Vegas recently performed WrestleMania 41, and New Orleans is already set to host WrestleMania 42 in 2026. Additionally, it has been publicly announced that Indianapolis will host WrestleMania in the future as part of an agreement between WWE and Indiana Sports Corporation.
