On Saturday, May 10th, WWE will announce its next premium live event featuring the St. Louis, Missouri Backlash 2025.
This should be a highly anticipated show for promotion as John Cena rekindled his 25-year rivalry in the main event and defended the indisputable WWE Championship with Randy Orton.
However, there are several stars above and below the cards that miss this major event for a variety of reasons.
Ahead of the first PLE following the WrestleMania 41, here are nine WWE stars that you might miss Backlash 2025.
9. Life Morgan
Liv Morgan has been one of the most notable female talents on WWE’s main roster, especially over the past year.
After capturing her fourth WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Raquel Rodriguez at WrestleMania 41’s Raw, it would not have been surprising that Morgan will be featured in upcoming PLE.
However, Liv has revealed to Smackdown’s general manager, Nick Aldis, that he needs a little break to start filming in the upcoming Hollywood film she stars in.
In recognition of her request, Aldis confirmed that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, registered in WWE Backlash 2025, is not available.
