Motor City Machine Gun has been on the WWE roster for less than a year, but is already one of the best tag teams of the Triple H era. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley had incredible stints in TNA, Ring of Honor and New Japan to become the legendary duo.
WWE has signed machine guns so we’ve already seen some great matches. Sabin and Shelley captured Tag Gold within weeks of their debut to prove they were key players. A recent epic TLC match has added a classic match to the WWE Library.

The inclusion of the Women’s Tag Team Championship has now become a tag division for women’s roster to become part of the show. Becky Lynch formed the TAG team with Lita, as two of the most beloved women in the company’s history.
The short-lived duo captured Tag Gold, but they didn’t even defend their belts. WWE booked a TRIOS tag match for that WrestleMania season before Lita was attacked. Trish Stratus attacked Rita, and the title led to their feud at Becky’s cost, but WWE wasted the Dream Team’s run.

New Day has been a popular fixture in the WWE tag category for over a decade. The big E, suffering from a potential career-ending injury, felt like a novel babyface act with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods missing out on members and making the same gimmick.
Triple H took a bold risk by turning Kingston and Woods heels towards the Big E and the fan base. New Day is greeted every week in the biggest boos, adding another chapter to the legendary Tagland as the disliked tag champion.

Triple H had the interesting idea of reuniting a tag team that hasn’t teamed up for over a decade. Miz and R-Truth were the top card heels as a surprising truth of the early 2010s. Both were the babyfaces in the middle of the reunion coming to 2024.
The great truth is winning the raw tag team championship in the strange ladder match WrestleMania 40 Two teams won the match to win each title. Unfortunately, Miz and R-Truth rarely stood out as champions of tags until Miz turned the heels at the end of his reign.

Bailey has been getting the Ctrl damage faction, so Triple H has pushed the group forward as a strong faction for quite some time. The original version led to Io Sky and Dakota Kai, governing the strong women’s tag team championship as perhaps the best women’s tag team of the Triple H era.
Kai talked about wanting a single run, but she gave this tag team everything to help Ctrl become a popular act. Asuka later joined in to rule with Sky, but the IO and Dakota pairing was the most successful in the tag division.

Ronda Rousey’s second tenure at WWE felt Snakebitted as he couldn’t make fans care as much as his first run. Triple H finally led to a feud with Rousey at the dream angle of having a tag team along with his best friend Shayna Baszler.
Taglan culminated in a women’s tag team championship victory, but fans were extremely indifferent to the duo. Even the breakup storyline went flat as Rousey, with Baszler on board, didn’t help her career in the way Ronda wanted from tag execution and feud.

Hit Lowe failed WWE’s main roster after being called out by the creative team without a plan and fired during the pandemic release. Triple H rehired everyone in order of hit, except for Shane Swave Strickland, pushing the tag team.
Fans didn’t care about Hit Low, and this time it got even worse with Triple H, who is in charge of creative work. Top Dolla and Ashante Adonis struggled to play a good match, and the overall gimmick didn’t connect with the audience.
