Why Nic Nemeth says WWE talent was “offended” by Pat McAfee Promo

2 Min Read

There are several ways to see Pat McAfee’s promotion for “Raw” last night. This is a match between him and Gunther in WWE Backlash. And given that McAfee’s promotion is unlike WWE Norm, McAfee has had enough time and swears to storm, it’s easy to see why a talent that’s not featured on WWE TV makes McAfee get mad at this opportunity.

As someone who has experienced a period of unused use in WWE, TNA’s Nic Nemeth can feel the pain of some of these wrestlers. On “Busted Open Radio,” Nemeth explained to some degree ironically why the promotion may have rubbed some talents in the wrong way.

“If it was behind me a few years ago, I’m like, ‘Man, that’s really cool that we could promote in a different way than what we do,'” Nemes said. “It’s really cool that he was able to swear more than we were allowed to, and he’s theoretically fighting, saying, “Michael Cole and all of you guys.”

“You can say whatever you want and say it like a person… It can change… it’s about changing a game-changing career for the others on that roster. So if I was on that roster, I would have been somewhere else for McAfee. And I would be pissed off, “I’m fighting for four PPV matches here. More PPV spots go to another guy working here.” ”
