2025 was a big year in AEW’s free agency signatures and talent departures.

Some of the likes of the Lucha brothers, Ricky Saints, Milo and Marakai Black left the promotion, but Speedball Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight and Megan Beine all signed and got off to a big start to the roster.

As the rest of the year progresses, more stars will be coming to the company to play a role on AEW TV.

There will be eight AEW debuts coming soon.

8. Cedric Alexander

In February, Cedric Alexander was released from WWE after nine years of stints in promotion.

Shortly after his release was announced, many fans assumed that the former cruiserweight champion was on his way to all elite wrestling.

Reuniting with his former Heart Business stabiliser, it seems inevitable that Alexander will join forces with MVPs, Bobby Rushley and Shelton Benjamin on Tony Kern’s promotion.

After years of start and stop pushes and lack of opportunity, it’s exhilarating to see Cedric wrestling again more often and become part of AEW’s most popular faction.
