Bully Ray receives Tony Khan’s booking advice after FTR angles at AEW Dynamite this week

On the April 23rd episode of “AEW Dynamite,” FTR delves deep into the dark side of their persona when they recruited Stokeley Hathaway to become new agents and attacked wrestling legend The Rock n’Roll Express. The former AEW tag team champion gave Ricky Morton a spike pile driver before Paragon drove away and stomps the villain. WWE Hall of Fame Bully Ray admitted to giving advice to President Aew Tony Khan, who was a fan of the entire segment, in a recent edition of “Busted Open After Dark.”

“Slowing the pace of the show at the moments when it needs it,” Ray said. “If Spike is going to set up Ricky Morton, what’s stacking up Ricky Morton? If FTR doesn’t allow the legendary pile driver to gain the heat you’re supposed to get, you’re shooting yourself with the foot. But what do I know?” Ray explained that he’s never going to tell any of the athletes on the show to slow down as it doesn’t solve anything, but explained that if there was a segment of “dynamite” they’d be given more time and benefited from slowing down the pace, it was an FTR.

“Tony, I know you’re not a fan of the biggest uncle bully. Even though we’ve never met before, that’s fine, but please take my advice small and a little bit. It means more of a judgement, or slow the kids a little, that promises you.”
