After WrestleMania 41 from Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, the incredible TLC main event at Smackdown this Friday was accepted as you would expect.
WWE management under Triple H tried to support improving the quality of matches, trying to pull back the number of matches in each PPV. However, talent also feels a negative impact of this approach, as many stories and coincidences deserve a spot in PLES have been relegated to weekly programming.
Friday’s TLC match featuring DIY, motor city machine guns and street profits was a big example. The match was highly praised by fans, and many people questioned why it wasn’t featured on the show.
Fightful Select provided an astonishing update in this match. They pointed out that the match has received incredible reviews internally and that many people know that the trio, who are away from the Mania Card, will be a big topic.
The regulations produced by Jamie Noble and Kenny Dykstra featured many high-risk spots, but everyone involved emerged from the match with “relatively healthy” per report.
The end of the TLC match caused the latter to be abandoned after Chris Sabin and Johnny Gargano fought at the top of the ladder. Montes Ford jumped in at the final moments and held the championship for his team after taking out Sabin.
