AEW’s short history has had many unforgettable moments and huge successes, but also features a substantial share of behind-the-scenes confusion. While some of these cases proved to be rather minor, others such as the CM Punk saga were substantial enough, and some of the cases believed it had forever changed the course of the company. Even top star Will Osprey found himself drawn into several dramas, including behind the scenes incident between Britt Baker and MJF last year.
For now, however, Ospreay feels that Aew’s locker room is as good as ever, as revealed in an interview with “Q101.”
“I definitely feel more like the team atmosphere behind the scenes,” Osprey said. “I think everyone is pulling in the right direction, but it’s not, there’s no bad agenda.”
This allowed Ospreay to fall into his thoughts behind the commonly heard catchphrase “restoring the senses” that several wrestlers have used over the past few years. Ospreay previously described himself as the aforementioned sentiment, explaining that he himself described as the “best professional wrestler” because he feels that Aew features the best wrestling match. It is the attitude he feels around the AEW locker room, leading to a shift within the promotion.
“For me, when I come to AEW, it feels like momentum is looking back on our path. I think a lot of people are looking forward to what they do to AEW in Arlington, Texas, which will become the biggest show in North America,” says Ospreay. “And we can wear one of the best wrestling displays because we hope everyone will show up.”
