Plans for future major AEW matches are reportedly being closely followed within the company before everything.

The 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament is currently underway, with the tournament finals scheduled to take place at the upcoming AEW Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View.

The women’s tournament final is set to watch Jamie Hater face off against Mercedes Mohn, but Will Osprey will face off against either Hangman Adam Page or Kyle Fletcher.

The tournament winners will be taking on their respective world championships at AEW All All at the Texas event in July, but people within AEW reportedly keeping the men’s matches close to their chests.

Following Fightful Select (subscription required), many sources within AEW were told that both the winner of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and the planned Main Event World Title Match at AEW All In were closely guarded within the company.

It is unclear whether this has not been decided yet, or if the company is just keeping things quiet.

John Moxley currently rules as AEW’s world champion and will defend his next title against Samoa Joe in a special episode of Dynamate in the AEW Beach Break on May 14th.
