WWE veteran Natalia is not sitting waiting for the creative team to write her next chapter. She’s making it happen.
In a new interview with Toronto Sunthe longtime WWE star revealed that he is permitted to participate in external wrestling projects with full support from the company.
“It’s so cool to be allowed to do these external projects with the full blessing of WWE.” Natalia said. “As I mentioned before, like I told many others this, I just take my salary and run a coast and I just want the WWE writers to think about what I do.”
Now for the 18th year in a row with the company, Natalia has emphasized that her longevity is no coincidence. “I would never have survived in a year above WWE 18. This is unprecedented for women in WWE. There are no other women in the industry. I have never done this at the level I have done over 18 years.”
She praised her drive and creativity, especially in an age when the women’s division is stacked more than ever before. “I would never have survived what I survived in WWE. I was creative and persistent, and didn’t always think about new ideas and ways to engage and involve them.
And when it came to expectations from the company’s top, Natalia didn’t pull the punch. “To be honest, Triple H borrows nothing to me. Triple H does not borrow a storyline from me, he does not borrow a phone from me, he does not borrow a text from me, he does not borrow an email from me, he does not borrow one thing from me.”
Natalia continues to be a steady force in WWE as both a ring and a respected locker room veteran. It is clear that she will not go anywhere unless she decides because of her willingness to move forward and create her own path.
