Regulations have been added to future matches between John Moxley and Samoa Joe for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.
The April 30 episode of Dynamite featured Hobbes with trio champions Joe, Katsuyori Island and “Powers” facing teams of Miles Hawkins, Nick Comorot and Rettitus in tag matches.
After Hobbs won a match for his team, Death Rider hit the ring. The group led by Mox targeted Shibata and took him in a slum to a chair facing upwards. After that, the faction quickly disappeared.
Samoa Joe picked up the microphone to deal with Mox after this and called him a “little bitch.” Samoan Submission Machine said he’s always arguing how Moxley brings his Goon Squad with him and hopes the title match is inside the steel cage.
The AEW champions did not reply to Joe, but the company created a prescribed formula with X graphics after the show aired.
The World Title Match is the only match confirmed to date in the scheduled Dynamite Special, held on May 15th from the current arena in Chicago.
