An update on Rey Mysterio’s WWE injury that he suffered prevented him from competing in the WWE WrestleMania 41 last month.
Rey Mysterio was scheduled for a singles match against rookie El Grande Americano at WWE WrestleMania 41 on April 19th, but the match didn’t happen in the end.
In the previous night’s match, Ray worked with Dragon Lee, Ray Phoenix, Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers. There, Ray Phoenix suffered an unfortunate injury that kept him out of WrestleMania as he stole his spot against El Grande Americano.
Ray suffered from adductors that torn in the match and recently announced he was scheduled to undergo surgery in Birmingham, Alabama.
With the latest updates on Rey’s injuries due to Pwinsider Elite (subscription required), Rey’s surgery earlier this week was successful, and Pwinsider told him that Rey had already returned to California.
Phoenix was shortened with his WrestleMania debut with El Grande Americano.
Ray hopes for a complete and complete recovery from his injury.
