Adam Copeland compares John Cena’s Heal Turn and Hulk Hogan joining the NWO

Adam Copeland of Aew Star shared his perspective on John Cena’s recent WWE heel turn during his first appearance with Korollnek & Colaiacovo. He also explained why he couldn’t keep up with current wrestling products like he used to.

Copeland admitted not to consume too much wrestling in downtime due to burnout. Instead, he focuses on his family.

“I don’t see wrestling in general. “…I think when you’re doing it, it’s one of those deals, seeing it all consumed, I said to come back and not trying to let me do it. I have a family and two kids.

He caught the highlights rather than the perfect show, not the perfect show, and stated that he was not fully aware of how Cena’s turn unfolded.

“I get the clips from Instagram and see them there. I don’t see the whole story, the follow-through and all the little beats here and there.”

“I don’t really know how it went, but a lot of people were talking about it,” he said. “As long as the babyface is facing, when you get the character you did that, it’s like when Hogan joined towards the NWO. Certainly, it’s always a good shot in the arms for business.”
