Historic venue

This expanded Philadelphia stay represents AEW’s first event at 2300 Arenas, which achieved legendary status as home to extreme championship wrestling throughout the 1990s. The intimate environment, which holds around 1,300 fans, has long been considered sacred ground for hardcore wrestling enthusiasts.

History of the venue’s residence

The Philadelphia residency continues AEW’s strategic approach to establishing extended stays at landmark venues. The company’s first major residency is located at the Daily location in Jacksonville, Florida, and served as the home base for AEW during the Covid-19 pandemic from March 2020 to July 2021. The 5,500-seat amphitheater connected to Jacksonville Jaguars Stadium hosted most of the AEW programming during this period.

In the summer of 2024, AEW successfully resided at the esports stadium in Arlington, Texas, featuring multiple episodes of clashes and ROH’s death before stigma as part of “The Road to Everything in Summer.” The Arlington residency included 10 live wrestling events at an intimate 2,500-talented venue.
