WWE has officially confirmed a new premium live event to return to Australia later this year.
In recent weeks, WWE has launched ads for “WWE Takeover Perth,” featuring episodes of Raw, episodes of Smackdown, and then-named PLE held in the area in October.
More details are now revealed.
WWE has announced that Crown Jewel Perth PLE will be held on Saturday, October 11th.
This is the first time that Crown Jewel has been held outside of Saudi Arabia, with the 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 editions all taking place in Riyadh, with 2020 being skipped for Covid.
In addition to Crown Jewel Perth, Smackdown and Raw editions will also be held at Rac Arena in Perth on Friday, October 10th and Monday, October 13th.
Previous WWE Takeover Perth ads also note that these shows will be hosting John Cena’s final match in Australia as part of his farewell tour this year.
WWE last visited Perth in February 2024 to eliminate Perth. The date for Crown Jewel Perth 2025 on October 11th is Ripley’s birthday.
Ripley traveled to Perth with fellow Australian Grayson Waller as part of the announcement.
