For years, WWE There were countless championships on that roster. Since the era of attitude, fans have become accustomed to seeing almost every baggage on the roster win at least one title in their careers of WWE. But that wasn’t always the case. WWE had only a few active major titles up until the new generation era.
It explains why a giant star like Jake “The Snake” Roberts didn’t have it 1 The WWE title would have easily captured a handful of belts in future eras. But even before the wild days of the late 1990s, there was always a reign of titles that was forgotten every year. Revisit the most unforgettable ones from every decade.

Looking at the WWE champion list throughout 1990, it’s fair to say that everything was memorable to some extent. With that in mind, our choice is “Texas Tornado” Kelly von Erich.
Former NWA champion WWE Run was undoubtedly the most memorable run of his career, and his reign of IC titles (snagged between Mr Perfect’s legendary reigns) was nothing to write about in the house.
1991: Hulk Hogan (WWE Championship)

Hulk Hogan is one of the greatest WWE champions of all time. Seeing the name of Hulkster on this list was probably the last thing you thought you’d see when you clicked on this article. After all, for better or worse, Hulk Hogan’s title run has always been memorable.
However, there are exceptions to that rule – Hogan’s fourth rule as WWE champion. After a controversial loss to the Undertaker in the 1991 Survivor Series, Hogan reclaimed the strap this Tuesday in Texas in a controversial way. The title was empty a few days later, setting the 1992 Royal Rumble match for the vacant belt.
1992: Mount (WWE Intercontinental Championship)

Jacques Rougeau is an underrated wrestler from the golden age of WWE. Lugo, well known as a tag team specialist, held the prestigious InterContinental Championship for a cup of coffee in his run as Mount.
He defeated the legendary Brett “Hitman” Heart at a live event in January 1992. His run lasted only a few days. Then Brett and Piper met at the WrestleMania 8 a few months later at the WrestleMania 8 at the greatest classic of all time.
1993: The Steiner Brothers (World Tag Team Championship)

Fans from the new generation of era remember Steiner’s run as the WWE World Tag Team Champion. But the governance you remember was not actually their first.
In June 1993, Steiners defeated Money Inc for the belt at the House Show. Rick and Scott Steiner ultimately held the straps for several months, running properly as champions.

The Mabel & MO man from Mission made his debut in 1993 as a fun mid-card tag team. They weren’t near the title photo at first, but they won the belt shortly after the WrestleMania 10. Less than a year after WWE running.
If there are no memories of their reign, it is because it happened during a tour of England. Mabel & Mo defeated the Quebecas and lost money during the same tour. This was the only run as a WWE World Tag Team Champion.
1995: 1-2-3 Kid & Bob Holly (World Tag Team Championship)

Yes, yet another team championship run. This time, 1-2-3 Kid & Bob Holly has formed a short partnership to face Million Dollar Corporation’s Bambum Bigelow & Tatanka for the vacant belt at Royal Rumble 1995.
The underdog duo recorded an upset victory over the established group. Bum Bum then entered Lawrence Taylor’s face and set up a clash in the main event at WrestleMania 11.

Godwinns was a memorable tag team in the 1990s, but it would be forgiven for not thinking they’ve never won the World Tag Team Championship in WWE. After all, Bushwacker – a similar act that was even more popular with fans – never won a championship.
But they were in fact Twice champion! Their first victory took place at the House Show on May 19, 1996. The night of a curtain call incident featuring members of Kliq. It only lasted a week as Godwins lost it at your home 8.
1997: Godwins (World Tag Team Championship)
Godwins’ second reign was even shorter

As World Tag Team Champions progressed, it was somehow even more easy to forget about Godwinns’ second run.
Just a few days after beating the Headbanger in Badd Blood: In a match aired on October 13, 1997, they were defeated by the Legion of Doom at their 1997 home.
1998: Christian (WWE Light Heavyweight Championship)

I think Christian’s first WWE title reign was as World Tag Team Champion along with Edge. In fact, he won the singles championship in his first WWE match. Pay-per-view, more!
On the 1998 judging day, Christian defeated Origami in an entertaining mid-card matchup in the WWE Light Heavyweight Championship. Christian’s reign lasted 30 days before losing to Gillberg in Raw.
1999: Edge (WWE Intercontinental Championship)
Edge actually won the singles title before capturing Tag Team Gold with Christian!

But Edge’s first title run surely He was the world tag team champion against Christian, right! ? I’m wrong again! In July 1999, Future Rated-R Superstar won a rare Intercontinental title shot against Jeff Jarrett at the House Show.
Edge won in front of fans in his hometown of Toronto. However, his run didn’t last long. The following night, in a fully loaded PPV event, Jarrett defeated the future 11 WWE World Champions and regained his honorable belt.
