WWE Corporate Cut continues its creative service and key staff will let go

WWE has just made a quiet and serious move behind the scenes and is already at work.

A wave of internal layoffs struck the company on Wednesday, with several divisions directly hitting what appears to be part of another round of corporate restructuring.

According to Pwinsider Elite, Cut influenced creative services, photography and other important areas. One of the most well-known names was Christine Lubrano, who served as senior vice president of creative writing operations at WWE. Lubrano was a major player in the company’s scripted content division and helped guide the direction of storytelling on television.

WWE has not officially commented on the cut, but sources within the company estimate that at least 10-12 staff members have been released.

These layoffs come shortly after past restructuring efforts following the merger of WWE and UFC under the TKO Group, and it appears that cost reductions have not yet slowed.
