Since the company was under the umbrella of the TKO Holding Group, there have been many exits for WWE talent and staff members, and it appears that the number has continued to grow.
On Thursday, 10-12 members of WWE staff were released (though according to Pwinsider Elite, staff members on WWE staff, including senior vice president of creative writing operations Christine Lubrano). Among the departments affected by the release were photography and creative services, but it is still unclear whether wrestlers or on-screen personnel are included as part of the release’s list.
Pwinsider Elite further stated that Lubrano’s withdrawal from the company “signs another important change in the constraints of WWE’s creative leadership as the company continues to evolve under the umbrella of TKO Group Holdings,” but could not be clearly stated if this was a “consequence of Wrestlemania’s creative direction.”
Before serving as Senior Vice President of WWE’s Creative Writing Operations, Lebrano, a position she had been serving since February 2021, was involved in the comedy television series Barones Pon Sketch Show, Todd Margaret’s increasingly poor decision, and Rabbit’s Year. In 2019, she founded her own company, Lubrano Media, after serving as Senior Vice President of Original Programming for IFC Films for many years, as detailed by Pwinsider Elite.
This marks the first set of WWE releases since 12 stars left the company this February. Sonya Devil, Isladoun, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, author of Pain, “NXT” Star Duke Hudson is one of those names.
