Aew Star Ricochet explained the main reasons he chose to leave WWE, and how Aew is helping him find his love for wrestling again.
Ricochet recently responded to fans of X. The former WWE Intercontinental champion disputed the theory, claiming that he left WWE because he was no longer loved or passionate about wrestling.
“No, the main reason was that WWE ruined my love and passion for the sport I grew up in.

Ricochet then ironically questioned whether wrestlers should even bother working hard for a company that doesn’t bother them. “You’re supposed to be a slave for a company that doesn’t really care about you,” said the Aew star in another post.
Since turning the heels in January, Ricochet has taken shots to fans, his AEW peers and spoke candidly about WWE’s running. However, he revealed in his next tweet that the comments that WWE is ruining wrestling for him were not “work” but that they were his legitimate feelings. Following Wrestlemania 41, Ricochet also clashed with fans who referenced previous criticisms of Iyo Sky after retaining the title in “The Show of Shows.” He also criticized WWE President Nick Kahn for his veiled comments targeting AEW. Khan said WWE didn’t want them to sign the stars just to bench them.
Ricochet, who appears to be enjoying his time at AEW, is supported by AEW CEO Tony Khan. He calls him a great wrestler and star.
