Soon after the still huge WrestleMania 41, WWE is approaching its next big event, held in St. Louis, Missouri on May 10th.
From stars who have not taken action due to injuries to others who have been missing on TV for a while, the event could have multiple major returns.
Here are six potential returns at WWE Backlash 2025:
6. Song dance war
With Dakota Kai starting from WWE and Iyo Sky to host the WWE Women’s World Championship, the future remains unknown as the Ctrl faction damages.
Asuka is reportedly scheduled to return to Japan in May. These are details recorded prior to Wrestlemania 41.
It’s a better way for her to make a surprise return than reappearing in Backlash 2025, but what’s unknown is whether she’s alone.
They also reportedly found behind the scenes with the WrestleMania 41 and nearby returns – Kairi Sane. They were undoubtedly able to pop up in St. Louis as it could potentially signal the duo’s return as a tag team.
