WWE has released more than 12 wrestlers from the main roster and WWE NXT, showing a major change in the company’s roster. From NXT Upstarts to former world champions like Javier Bernal and Braun Strowman, these cuts will have an impact on the entire card.
With X, Nixon Newell had problems with WWE’s latest mass layoffs. Former Tegan Nox claimed that these releases were “like crazy!” However, it is unclear whether she is talking about cut cuts for wrestlers or how WWE is talking about how to trim the roster.
Newell knows everything about being handed a pink slip from WWE. In November 2021, she was first released from WWE. Newell was drafted to Raw early in the year, but was cut without competing with the Red brand.
In December 2022, Newell Return is part of many rehabilitation under the Paul “Triple H” Levesque. On November 1, 2024, nearly two years after his first release, the Welsh wrestler was cut for the second time.
People cut from the NXT contract will have to wait 30 days, but they will have to wait 90 days before a cut from the main roster competes elsewhere. After this latest wave of releases, we haven’t seen who is making the most of their opportunities.
