Within the world of wrestling, Rome’s rule is an ornamental champion, with his latest world title reaching a whopping 1,316 days. Of course, that indisputable reign of the WWE Universal Championship ended at the hands of WrestleMania 40’s “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.
After his Grand Stage Loss, “The OTC” eventually returned to WWE programming at the 2024 Summerslam Premium Live event, helping Rhodes retain the Solosicore title. The move sparked a tribal war between the new lineage led by Sicor and the former pedigree members, whom the ruler had unofficially captained. Sikoa secured his Allegiant tag team victory at WWE Crown Jewel, but Reigns and his crew (and CM Punk) bouncing off in a fierce battle wargame victory in the WWE Survivor series.
The Cicor and the Ruler, tied to one big victory, were last seen at the Netflix premiere of “WWE Raw” under the titles ULA FALA and “Tribal Chief.” Thanks to the well-timed spear and the help of Cody Rhodes, Reigns defeated Cicor and officially restored his honor.
Outside the world of wrestling, governance (real name Leati Joseph Anoaii) is a proud father and leads five pedigrees. More recently, the ruler and wife Galina Becker welcomed a pair of twin sons into the world in 2020. Four years ago, the couple did the same thing with another twin son. Their first child came in December 2007 and is a daughter named Joel (known as JoJo).
Rome Reign & Daughter JoJo appeared in his father’s campaign
Over the years, Reigns kept many details of his family life private. However, in 2014, viewers were able to get a glimpse of it as he and his daughter appeared in the public service announcement of the Advertising Council’s father’s campaign.
In their particular ads, JoJo and the Ruler put together a tea party of two to the song “I’m a Little Teapot.” According to Reigns, Jojo took the opportunity very seriously.
“We practiced a little bit of singing. She sang it for the past two weeks,” he revealed in behind the scenes footage. Ad Vice President Rowena Patrick shared similar sentiments, and Jojo, then 6 years old, took her tea party in particular seriously, making hot tea a part of her service.
The following year, Reigns and Jojo’s PSA were referenced on WWE TV, particularly during the former world champion feud with current lattice Bray Wyatt. On June 15th, 2015, in the episode of “Raw,” Wyatt ruled with a photo of him and JoJo enjoying the tea party. On top of that, Wyatt sang “I’m a Little Teapot” with a chuckle. All this was done in front of a dark, eerie background a few days before Father’s Day holiday.
He wasn’t too keen to involve JoJo in the WWE storyline, but Reigns told The Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast.
Reigns & Jojo share classy (& embarrassing) moments together
In addition to PSA, JoJo appeared with his father at several red carpet events, including the 2018 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Sports Awards. That same year they attended the ESPY Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles and the 4th Sports Humanitarian Awards at ESPN. The latter accepted the League Humanitarian Award along with Stephanie McMahon and Charlotte Flair on behalf of WWE. That night, JoJo wore a multi-coloured dress with a black top and a white skirt, while the ruler wore a green and blue checkered suit jacket.
Fast forward to fall 2021, Reigns shared a different kind of moment with Jojo.
“I’m dropping her down at school, it’s like a circle you have to put them down. [by Mariah Carey]”Reigns spoke,” she melts in “The Tonight Show.” Five of her friends turn the corner and go to the class where they witnessed the entire situation. She closes the door as quickly as possible. ”
According to Reigns, Jojo was a firm believer that after the Thanksgiving holiday, he should perform Christmas more than before. Nevertheless, he assured him that he would feel the spirit of Christmas at least once before sitting down for a Thanksgiving meal that year.
Two days after his latest Thanksgiving Day, Reigns competed in the aforementioned Wargames Match. Two more weeks later, JoJo celebrated his 17th birthday.
