CM Punk confirms that it is not ready for WWE return

CM Punk confirmed that it will not return to the May 5 episode of Omaha’s Monday Night Raw, and told fans that it needs more recovery time following the fallout on WrestleMania 41.

During Saturday’s Instagram livestream, when asked about his appearance on May 5th Raw, Punk spoke directly to his absence, saying, “Brother, I took a week off – I need more.” This confirmation comes after fans want to see “Second City Cent” return to TV.

Punk’s final WWE appearance was in the April 21st edition of Raw on Monday night, when he and the Roman ruler were attacked by Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman and Bron Blakeker.

The attack follows Heyman’s punk betrayal at WrestleMania 41.

As Punk extends time away from WWE programming, fans will need to be patient about when they will return to continue their feud with the Heyman faction. His comeback timeline remains uncertain, but the storyline clearly has important, unfinished business to deal with when he returns. ????????????????????
