Punk responded, saying he was sure it would happen, adding, “We have to do two hits in the night for all those moving the goal post.”
Punk’s comments are answers to many who criticize the notion that Punk Main made WrestleMania an event this year. Some have argued that despite WrestleMania currently being a two-night event, only the match where the show’s second night headline is the “true” main event. If so, that means that Punk is back to never pretending to be an immortal showcase.
